Hi Rafelina,
Welcome to planDisney!
Yes, to enter one of the Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks, you will need
valid admission. Once you enter the park you have access to the
attractions and entertainment. There are, however, select separately priced
events and tours. Check the
Special Offers to see if there are any discounts for the dates you would like to visit.
I also recommend a
vacation package with a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and theme park tickets. My family loves staying in the midst of the magic and we value the proximity to the parks. Depending on our budget, we have stayed at
Disney's Pop Century Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, both of which have access to the
Disney Skyliner. I love the unique themes at each of these resort hotels, especially the family suite options at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
When we traveled with my parents years ago on our girls' first visit to Disney, we stayed at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa in a 2 Bedroom Villa. Over the years, we have come to love
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort,
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and
Disney's BoardWalk Inn. As you continue to plan, consider the amenities at each resort hotel. We love to have multiple dining options at our resort hotel, so we prefer to stay at places that have table-service and quick-service dining options. 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are two of our favorite dining locations.
Rafelina, I hope you get your dates finalized and trip planned. We hope to see you real soon!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
