I want to know if I can buy a meal Plan if I am not staying in a resort?

    Hello, Christian!

Thanks for asking an excellent question! Disney Dining Plans can be purchased as part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, which includes staying a select Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Therefore, Guests staying off property are not eligible to purchase a dining plan at this time. However, I have a solution that might work if you are trying to stick to a food budget. Take a look at menus where you plan to dine and get an idea of what your family may order, so you have an idea how much each meal will cost and don't forget to include gratuities. Once you have an idea of how much you will spend, then purchase that amount in Disney Gift Cards to use as payment for meals and snacks. I have done this several times and is an easy way for my family to stay on track with our budget. Please let us know if you have additional questions as you continue to plan your visit!

    Happy Planning!
