Hello, I would like to know if I only can buy a dining plan if we (3 adults, 2 children 7 and 8) stay in a disney resort. Thanks for helping me.

    Hi Barbara,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

If I understand your question correctly, you’re wondering whether only one person staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room can purchase a Disney Dining Plan for themselves, while the other Guests staying in the same hotel room do not. Unfortunately, the Disney Dining Plan must be purchased for all Guests who will be in the same room and, in fact, all members must purchase the same type of Plan for their stay (i.e. Deluxe, Quick Service, etc.)

The only way to only purchase a Disney Dining Plan for yourself would be to stay in a room that is separate from the other members of your party, which may or may not be feasible, depending on what type of Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you choose for your upcoming visit.

I hope my answer helps you plan your vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
