Hi there, Aisha! Welcome to planDisney! I'm always excited to talk about Walt Disney World with another Floridian!
Normally, we Florida residents can buy Annual Passes and choose the Monthly Payment Plan to pay for them. To do that, you'll generally put down a deposit equal to one day's theme park admission for each ticket, and then spread the balance out over a 12-month period.
Right now, though, as Walt Disney World continues to operate under its
phased reopening procedures, sales of new Annual Passes have been paused. I'm hoping they'll resume soon, but for now my best advice in the meantime is to keep an eye on the
Theme Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go page on the Walt Disney World website for updates.
Aisha, I know this is probably disappointing news, but there's still plenty of fun to be had while we wait for word on Annual Pass sales returning. Disney is currently offering
4-Day Tickets at a 40% discount for Florida residents, so you can save a little money on the magic! Plus, there are almost always
deals on Disney Resorts Collection hotel stays for Floridians, so you can turn your visit into a real vacation!
I have all of my fingers and toes crossed that we'll be celebrating the return of Annual Pass sales very soon, Aisha. Thanks for stopping by, and please come see us again if you have any more questions.
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
