    I know the buses start to run one hour before parks open. Will they also begin to run one hour before morning extra magic hours?

    Hi, Brenda! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Extra Magic Hours     are a fantastic way to pack in more magic! I am happy to say that Walt Disney World Resort’s Complimentary Resort Transportation does indeed take into account Extra Magic Hours and buses will start to run at least 45 minutes before Disney Theme Park Opening to get you to the fun as early as possible! Keep in mind that only buses for those select Extra Magic Hours Disney Theme Parks will be operating early. For example, if Magic Kingdom Park has Extra Magic Hours in the morning starting at 7 am, but Epcot only open at 9 am, you won’t be able to hop onto an Epcot bus at 6 am, but catching an early ride on the Magic Kingdom Park bus will not be an issue.

    With Pandora- The World of Avatar beginning Expeditions soon, you can be sure that there will be some special nighttime Extra Magic Hours for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, depending on your vacation dates.
