I would like to know if I can bring a small backpack instead of a pocket book into the parks?

    Hello, Sheila!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I often use a backpack instead of my purse as I tour Walt Disney World Resort. For me, a backpack is easier to carry and can easily be attached to our son's stroller/wheelchair or stowed away while zooming through Space Moutain. Be sure to limit the items to essentials, as lugging a heavy bag around the parks can be exhausting. I usually bring necessities like my wallet, phone, charging cables and travel sized hand sanitizer, sunscreen and disinfecting wipes. I also keep extra socks as those come in handy after an adventure on Kali River Rapids. Keep in mind that if you plan to bring along snacks or drinks that glass is prohibited inside theme parks and water parks. To find a list of other prohibited items, take a look at the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules

I hope this helps with your planning, Shelia! Please visit us again should you have other questions about your upcoming visit!
