Hi there, Alexandra!
I'm so excited to hEAR you have plans for a pixie-dusted honeymoon at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Walt Disney World Resort is a wonderful place to celebrate your upcoming nuptials, and you'll be making magical memories to last a lifetime.
Guests are more than welcome to bring a bag or backpack into the theme parks, in fact, I typically carry a backpack whenever I visit.
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules state that bags and backpacks (with or without wheels) can be no larger than 24" long x 15" high, and a standard-sized backpack fits well within those dimensions. Walt Disney World has a very streamlined security screening process, and you don't even have to remove your backpack as you walk through the scanner! You'll only be asked to step to the side if an additional bag check is needed.

what's in our park bags in an Instagram post, and those items are only a small list of park essentials! I typically pack my bag with rain ponchos, a collapsible water bottle, my photo I.D., small packaged snacks, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, a portable phone charger, ponytail holders, and a baseball cap. I always leave room for souvenirs! If you'd like to bring a bag with a change of clothes, you're certainly able to do that. If you'll be changing shoes as well, and that causes your bag to be heavy on your shoulder, you could always consider
renting a locker at the front of the park.
It won't be long until you're walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. in
Magic Kingdom Park as a newlywed! I wish you all the best in your upcoming marriage and a magical, memorable vacation at Walt Disney World Resort.
