Hello! I know we can bring our own food into the parks, but I vaguely remember hearing that you are also allowed to bring your own packed lunch into any quick service restaurant to eat. Is that still true?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Well, it seems as if a Walt Disney World vacation is in the works.  You and your guests must be excited and I hope your vacation planning is coming along quite well.  You cannot imagine all the MAGIC that awaits you!  Let's get started.

I have seen many quests enjoying their very own meals which were brought from home on several of my WDW vacations.  Of course, each counter service restaurant reserves the right to enforce their own rules, but I think you are pretty safe.  To confirm my answer, I spoke to a Cast Member concerning your question. He assured me that it should be just fine, but the final decision lies with the restaurant.  Again, the Cast Member is quite sure that you will not be asked to leave because you brought along your own food.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Looking for some great dining experiences?  Disney Springs offers some great places to dine.  There is something for the whole family.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
