We are delighted to help you plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! At this time, you could book a
vacation package with a
resort hotel and
theme park tickets. Unfortunately, you cannot currently get airfare or a
Disney Dining Plan with a vacation package.
Although my family was a big fan of the Disney Dining Plans, we managed to do well with dining on our last trip. We selected our restaurants and made
advanced dining reservations. I checked the menus of each restaurant prior to our trip and estimated the cost of each meal including taxes and gratuity. Having that estimate was one of the reasons I love Disney Dining Plans - I need to have a close approximation of food costs. By the end of this last trip without a dining plan, I was happy to see that we came in just under budget.
We have always purchased our airfare separately. I actually like not having to go through a third party to make changes with the airfare. We book it online and I use the mobile app for the airline to check-in for our flights. I also create a chart of our trip plans and include the airfare confirmation number, resort hotel confirmation number, dining reservations with confirmation numbers, and any other plans we have for the visit.
In looking at your arrival date, I highly recommend that you make that vacation package reservation so that you can secure your
Disney Park Pass system reservations. Check the
theme park reservation calendar to make sure that there is availability prior to booking your vacation package. As you are making plans, be sure to create a
My Disney Experience account so that you can
link your vacation package and then make those park pass reservations.
Melissa, I have to also mention the importance of making advanced dining reservations. Although you can use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, we always enjoy having some regularly scheduled meals. As your plans come together, check the
operational updates since procedures and experiences could change by the time of your visit. We are so excited to welcome you to a world of magic!
