Hey There, Courtney!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. As it just so happens, you're talking about one of my favorite parts of the entire Disney vacation-planning process –– making your advance dining reservations. Not only do I love dreaming up all the delicious meals my family can enjoy during our stay, but once that 60-day mark comes, I know my vacation is finally getting close! Since you're just over a month away from making your own dining reservations, let me share a few details about the process to help you get ready.
One of the perks of staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is that Resort Guests can make advance dining reservations for their entire length of stay –– up to 10 days –– 60 days from their check-in date. This means that how many days you'll be able to book at one time depends on how many nights you'll be spending in a Disney Resort hotel. If you're only staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for one night, you'll be able to book reservations on the day you check in and the next day that you're checking out –– you won't have the option to book dining reservations in advance for those days that you'll be staying at a non-Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Don't worry, though –– you'll still be able to make reservations throughout your visit, you just won't be able to make them further out than 60 days in advance.
In addition to making your dining reservations in advance, another great way to score a table at Walt Disney World restaurants is by using the Walk-Up List feature on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Once you're in the parks, you'll be able to select "Check Dining Availability", see which restaurants currently have openings, and head right over. Not only is this a great way to enjoy a meal, but it also adds a little spontaneity and surprise to your day. Pretty cool, huh?
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney, Courtney. I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you lots of delicious dishes during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
Happy Planning,
Amy
