Hi Carla, welcome to planDisney!
A 15-day stay at
Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a dream come true. There is more to do than can ever be done on a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth, but a two-week stay will give you plenty of time to enjoy the
50th Anniversary Celebration at all four theme parks. You'll also have time to explore the activities and amenities offered at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Advance dining reservations are a great way to get a taste of all Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. Some of my favorite food and family memories took place around a Disney table. My kids speak frequently and fondly of that time they had breakfast with Mickey and Minnie at
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort and my husband and I will never forget the practically perfect meal we enjoyed recently at
Cítricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
Securing reservations at Disney's highly sought-after dining establishments requires planning, patience, and a little bit of pixie dust. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel may make advance dining reservations
online 60 days in advance for up to 10 days of their stay. With a resort reservation linked in
My Disney Experience, your dates should open up by 6:00 a.m. EST, which requires some clock math. I received confirmation from multiple Cast Members that dining reservations for the remaining days of your vacation will open up one day at a time at the 60-day mark. As such, I recommend trying to schedule the most popular dining destinations, such as character and signature dining experiences, towards the end of your initial 10-day window to ensure maximum reservation availability.
Several restaurants even have special offerings in honor of The World's Most Magical Celebration. My Panelist Pal
Ashley recently experienced the 50th Anniversary Celebration Menu at
California Grill. Dessert was served with a side of
Disney Enchantment fireworks. Her pictures made my mouth water and smile at the same time.
Thanks for being our guest here at planDisney, where serving up trip-planning advice and information is our specialty. We hope to see you again real soon.
