Stephanie, hello and welcome to
planDisney.
I'm so glad that you are asking about making advanced dining reservations. Some of the best places can fill up quite quickly so it is best to be prepared. Stephanie, you can begin making your advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your check-in day for the length of your stay up to 10 days. If you'd like to make dining reservations online you can do so via your
MyDisneyExperience account starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. If you'd rather call and have a Cast Member assist you with your dining reservations you are able to do this by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m.
If you are able to, I highly recommend setting your alarm bright and early and being up just ahead of 6:00 a.m. to make those reservations online. Having a Cast Member help you over the phone is a little bit easier but you are losing a full hour of reservation making time and some things will get gone in that timeframe. I like to set everything up the night before like my notebook with my itinerary and my computer that way I am not scrambling in the morning.
I'm sure you have an idea of where you would like to dine at during your vacation, Stephanie, but I do have a few suggestions to send your way. Right now I can't get enough of
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. They are known for seafood and steaks but there is something on the menu to please even the pickiest of eaters. My go-to order is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. They are mouth-watering delicious! I've had lots of menu items there over the years and all of the food is 10 out of 10. I have a lot of favorite dishes there but I am hooked on that lobster roll as of late! For a newer restaurant, I am also loving
Steakhouse 71. I've dined there a few times since it opened back in October and I've always been pleased. They are open for all three meals but I think the dinner there is the best option. I've actually had every item on the menu and I can say with absolute certainty there isn't a bad choice. However, the mac and cheese is a must-try menu item. It's so good!
I hope this helps, Stephanie. If you have any other questions as you finalize up your plans for April, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'd love to help!
