I would like to know how to book a combo cruise from Florida and park stay post cruise.

    Hey, howdy, hey, Lewis!

Yeehaw! A land and sea vacation is definitely my family's favorite way to do Disney. You're in for a rootin' tootin' time!

My family recently booked a Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Booking your epic land and sea adventure is as easy as 1, 2, 3, as follows.

    1. Start by booking your Disney cruise. Find a Cruise itinerary that speaks to you with a start date that works for your schedule. When combining your cruise with a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I recommend using the "Departing from" filter to search only for cruises embarking from Port Canaveral, Florida. But don't discount the possibility of cruises out of Fort Lauderdale. There may be some itineraries out of that port that are exciting to you too. We plan to drive a rental car down there to board the Disney Dream after our upcoming visit to Walt Disney World. If you prefer, a Cast Member at the Disney Cruise Line call center can help select and book an itinerary.
    2. Plan out the Disney World portion of your trip. Decide if you want to visit Disney World before your cruise, after, or both! You can book your Disney Resorts Collection resort stay and theme park tickets together as a Vacation Package. Use the Disney World website or call the Walt Disney World Resort to build the perfect experience by selecting a resort hotel that fits your preferences and budget, adding theme park tickets, an optional Disney Dining Plan, and even a few extras to make things special.
    3. Arrange for air and ground transportation. I like to seamlessly tie together the Disney World and Disney cruise portions of our vacation with convenient motorcoach transfers between the airport, cruise port terminal, and Walt Disney World hotel. It's nice to have most of the transportation for our family members and our luggage between locations arranged ahead of time. And the comfort and theming of the buses help maintain a continuous vacation vibe. Round-trip ground transfers between the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Port Canaveral can be booked using the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or from the My Reservations page. To book transfers between the port and the Walt Disney World Resort, call Disney Cruise Line directly.

It's really that easy. Sure, there may be a few questions along the way. For that, you are more than welcome to visit us here at planDisney any time. As fellow Guests like you, it's our pleasure to share advice based on our prior experience to help make your Disney vacation as magical as possible.

    Have a magical time, Lewis!
