Hey There, Emmanuel!
I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney and I really appreciate you dropping by with your question today. I know January might seem far away now, but I have a feeling these last few months before you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort are going to fly by. And as it just so happens, one of my favorite parts of the entire planning process is right around the corner for you –– the day you can officially begin making your advance dining reservations. Not only does this mean it's time to start dreaming of all the yummy dishes you'll be enjoying during your holiday, but once you officially hit that 60-day mark, the final countdown is on! Since your dining reservation window is opening in just a few weeks, let me share a few details about how the process works to help you prepare.
Once you've hit the 60-day mark, you'll officially be able to begin making your
Walt Disney World advance dining reservations at 6 AM EST, which means that window will open for you at 9 PM AEDT in Sydney. However, I've sometimes been able to make reservations as early as 5:45 AM EST (8:45 PM AEDT), so I always recommend logging in a little early to try your luck. This spring, I was able to make reservations for a visit beginning at 5:45 AM, while later this summer, the booking window didn't open for me until 6 on the dot –– I'm not sure why it happens this way, but I suggest trying a little early, just in case.
And while all Guests can begin booking their dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, don't forget that Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book reservations for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) at the 60-day mark. So if you'll be enjoying
all the perks of a Disney Resort stay during your visit, be sure to take advantage of that extended booking window, especially if you're trying to grab a table at a popular spot, like EPCOT's Space 220 Restaurant.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Emmanuel. I hope this helped to answer your question, but if you need more information or think of new planning questions as your Walt Disney World Resort holiday gets closer, please don't hesitate to stop by again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!
Happy Planning,
Amy
