Hi all! I would like to know what would be the best/fasted way to get from Hollywood studios to Magic Kingdom. We are spending most of the day at HS but this way the only day I could get us dinner reservations for Be Our Guest! We will have a rental car.

Greetings, Anastacia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’d be happy to give you the “ins and outs” on the fastest way to Park Hop to your preferred parks and get you to dinner on time, so that you’re not late like The White Rabbit!

I’ve visited Walt Disney World Resort with a rental car before, but I can tell you that if you’re staying on property, it’s so much faster to use Disney Transportation. The bus system starts early, with regular busses arriving approximately every 20 minutes. If you decide to take your rental car for the day and pay for parking at Hollywood Studios, save your parking pass and show it to the parking attendant at Magic Kingdom for complimentary parking that day. Once you’ve paid, you’re in for the day at all Disney Theme Parks.

If you open the My Disney Experience Mobile App, you’ll be able to search for Be Our Guest, and then look at “directions.” This will not only give you step by step instruction, but also approximate travel time so you know how long it will take you to arrive. Travel time can vary during the day, so I would search this option in the late afternoon to see what a real-travel-time would be like. The absolute FASTEST way between Disney’s 4 main Parks is Express Transportation. You can see my detailed explanation of how Express Transportation Works in my answer to another guest. You’ll bypass touchpoints/turnstiles, security checks and be dropped off internally to your destination. It was the only way I was able to fly into Orlando and see ALL FOUR main theme parks in one day. An epic achievement! If I can give you more insight to arrive at dinner on time, please let me know. I’m hEAR for you! ~ Lindsey P.
