Hiya Cory - welcome to planDisney!
I recently enjoyed a stay at one of the unique
Treehouse Villas located at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa - it was great! I think the first thing for you to consider is what's drawing you to one of the Treehouse Villas. Many Guests choose them because of their secluded wooded setting, which really transports you to a totally different atmosphere compared to being in the Theme Parks. The flip side of that seclusion means that Treehouse Villas are a bit isolated from other amenities, meaning you'll be relying on
complimentary bus transportation. That's not a bad thing at all, but something to consider!
For example, when I know I want to spend a lot of time at nearby
Disney Springs on a trip, I usually opt for a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom Preferred Villa at Saratoga Springs instead of a Treehouse Villa. They have similar amenities, including full kitchens and a washer and dryer, but are located in the main part of the Resort, with the Preferred Villas located in the buildings closest to the short walkway to Disney Springs! The Treehouse Villas have more rustic woodsy decor and are more private, while the Villas in the shared main buildings of this Resort were recently refreshed with a more bright and modern feel. Guests love them both so you really can't go wrong!
If being in the outdoors is what you're after on this trip, you should also check out
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This is another unique "outdoorsy" accommodation option that's great for longer stays, and this Resort also has convenient boat transportation to Magic Kingdom Park! Just know that cabins do not include a washer and dryer. You'll also want to check each option's sleeping arrangements to make sure they are ideal for your stay. You mention that there are two Guests in your party, so you may need one bed or separate sleeping arrangements.
You also mention wanting as much included as possible, so I encourage you to look into booking a
Vacation Package including your Resort accommodations and Theme Park Tickets for your visit directly through Disney. If you're looking for more extensive planning assistance, for example, including airfare, airport transportation, a rental car, or anything else, I suggest you connect with a travel professional. There are many fantastic travel professionals out there with expertise in planning magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations, and going this route might be a good option for you. This is especially true if you want more of the planning taken care of for you, or if this is your first time visiting or the first time back in a while.
No matter what planning path you take, keep a few things in mind. First, currently, dining reservations can only be made starting 60 days in advance. Also, in addition to your Theme Park Tickets, you'll need to make
Park Pass Reservations for the Theme Parks on the days you want to visit them. Last but certainly not least, I highly recommend that you check out the
Enchanting Extras Collection! This is a group of exciting experiences for those Guests wanting to add a little bit of extra pixie dust to their vacation. There are so many great options!
I hope this information is helpful in getting your planning started, Cory - stop by anytime with more questions!
