Hello, Marnie!
Welcome back!
We always book the
Dining Plan, as it affords us the most flexible options as well as great value. Each member of your party will receive a resort-refillable mug (about a $15 each at this time) which is a great way to keep the boys hydrated and Mom and Dad happy, as well. At check-in, you'll get a total number of entitlements per person, per night of stay. For example, your party of 6 will get 6 snack credits, 6 Quick-Service meal entitlements and 6 Table-Service meal entitlements for each night of your stay. We like using 1 TS and 1 QS per day, but you can use these credits up in any way you choose up until midnight of your check-out day.
At those ages, your boys probably love to eat; DP enables your family to visit some spectacular locations while staying within your budget. You've basically pre-paid your meals, so you and your sons can order any entree at any location in the four major parks, two water parks, DisneyQuest as well as restaurants at
Downtown Disney. Look at the menus which are posted on WDW's website or go to one of my favorite unofficial sites, allears.net, options and prices as well. There are dozens of restaurants which serve gourmet meals as well as kids' meals for the little one, so all will feel as if they've dined at some new favorite restaurants on this trip.
Send me another question including food favorites in your family, something new, perhaps, that you'd like to try and if you'll be headed into DD; I'd love to give you suggestions on where to dine and how to spend those snack credits wisely, too!
