Do you know what the best hotel would be to stay at in Disneyland. We want to stay at a good neighbor hotel.

    Hi, Corinnea!

I’m happy to hear you’re planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort this summer! There is so much new magic to discover, especially with the addition of Fantasy Faire and Mickey and the Magical Map at Disneyland Park.

I’ve stayed at quite a few of the Good Neighbor Hotels (there are over 40!) near the Disneyland Resort and have had great experiences with many of them, but the best one really depends on your own family’s individual needs. One of my favorites is the Anabella Hotel because of its proximity to the parks (it’s directly behind Paradise Bay in Disney California Adventure Park and a short walk from the parks and the Downtown Disney District). I enjoy staying in the suites and concierge-level rooms that are conveniently located toward the front of the property.

My family recently stayed at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Anaheim Resort - Convention Center for a very reasonable price. It’s a bit too far to walk to the parks easily, but a shuttle is available. Our spacious room had a separate living area, which came in handy for nap times—my husband and I didn’t have to sit in the dark while my little one rested. To sweeten your stay, every guest gets a warm, freshly made cookie upon check-in!

If you’re looking for a property with a great pool, check out the Anaheim Howard Johnson Hotel and Water Playground. It’s within walking distance of the parks and features a pirate-themed water play area with a 30-foot pirate ship, drench bucket, slides, water cannons and more, in addition to a toddler pool, hot tub and secluded garden pool.

I hope this helps, Corinnea, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Disneyland Resort! Please write back with more questions as your planning continues.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
