I would like to know which is the best dining plan to use. Our two grandchildren, ages 6 and 7 will be joining us and we have booked two dnner shows and a character breakfast. They will be with us for five days. Which dining plan will work for us?

    Hi Gary,

Based on your planned table service meals, it sounds as if the basic Disney Dining Plan (which includes one table service meal, one quick service meal, and one snack per person/per day) would be the best plan for you and your grandchildren.  This is an amazingly cost-effective plan, especially for families traveling with children under the age of ten.  Honestly, I've never found a less expensive way to feed children the exciting range of food available at Walt Disney World.  Assuming your two dinner shows will use two table service credits each, you will still have to pay out of pocket for a few meals, but overall, I believe this is still the best plan for your traveling party.

Wishing you a magical vacation with your two lucky grandchildren!
