As all moms know, it's best to avoid stores you don't intend to buy anything when you have your 3-5 year old with you. We are new annual passers and I would like to know which stores inside the Magic Kingdom honors the discount? All 4 parks would be better

Hi Angel, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How about a little shopping?

Congratulations on your new Florida Resident Annual Pass! I love being a Passholder, and all the great perks that come along with it - including that handy 10% discount on select merchandise and dining at Walt Disney World.

I checked the Annual Passholders Benefits page on the Walt Disney World website, and what I found was a list of stores and certain items that are not eligible for the discount. While I know you were looking for a list of stores where you can use your discount, it would seem that list is just too long to include!

I think many of the stores in the Theme Parks do honor the discount, but certain individual items are ineligible. The stores that I see that are ineligible are not owned by Disney, and the majority of these appear to be located at Downtown Disney or at World Showcase in Epcot. For the most part, I think you're safe in just about any store in the Magic Kingdom and the other Theme Parks.

I hope this helps you find just the right treasure with your newly minted Annual Pass, Angel. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions.

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
