    I would like to know if the bedspreads in Disney World Resort Hotels are washed between guests. I know that even a lot of the big chain hotels do not require housekeeping to change them. Also are bed sheets changed daily - or do I have to request that? thx

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel with your questions

    I've just spoken directly with Housekeeping or "Mousekeeping" as we like to call it at Walt Disney World, on your behalf to get a confirmed response to your inquiries.

    Bedspreads are not necessarily changed or washed between Guests. Upon check-out, bedspreads are examined by Mousekeeping staff and sent to be laundered if necessary to do so. Regular changing and washing of the bedspreads are done every 30 days during monthly, detailed inspections of all resort rooms. Some Walt Disney World Resort properties, such as Disney's Contemporary Resort, no longer use bedspreads in the rooms and instead have a decorative blanket or throw that only covers the foot section of the bed. If you wish to write me back about the specific resort you'll be staying at, I'd be happy to find out the pertinent information for you.

    Bed sheets are made up daily, and changed on every 4th night of a Guest's stay. Should you wish your bed sheets to be changed more frequently than that, it absolutely can be done! Simply advise the front desk upon check-in, or call housekeeping from your resort room, advising that you'd prefer your sheets to be changed on a daily basis.
