Bright suns, Breanna, and welcome to the planDisney
Batuu Black Spire Outpost location.
As Han Solo once said to Chewbacca, "Fly casual." There are some
specific Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge costume guidelines that you can follow to secure your entrance onto Batuu that even Kylo Ren must obey. Imitating and not copying is a good rule of thumb. If you are a member of the Resistance then wearing natural, earthy tones, including hats, bandoleers, boots, loose-fitting shirts, and jackets are perfect just do not be too perfect (no face-covering masks/helmets). For supporters of the First Order, darker tones with or without rank insignia plaques and no helmets or blasters would be allowed. Those off-worlders who are 14 years or younger may wear outfits including helmets that do not obscure their vision.
When visiting far-off planets in the Outer Rim, you really want to mix in with the crowd. You will see all walks of life around Black Spire Outpost. If you look closely at some Batuuan visitors, hanging from belts or slung across their shoulders are lightsabers. Be careful around those. Obi-Wan Kenobi taught us that “This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or random as a blaster; an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.” You can even
build your own lightsaber. From Wookies and Rebels to First Order Stormtroopers, Batuu is a place with
interesting artifacts and people from across the galaxy.
planDisney Pro Tip: Before Disney Bounding, use your datapad (smart device) or computer to look at photos online to get some ideas on the styles and designs of people who have visited Batuu. If you are taking a day trip off the Halcyon as part of the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser voyage, you will need to follow the dress code on planet Batuu.
