So now you know our basic plan, questions..Is there a park you would recommend for the two open days? Travel dates are Dec17-24. We don't have park hopper or water park option, do you think we need it? Is there anything major we are missing? Thanks so much

    Celeste,

I think you have everything nicely planned and have covered all the parks and their activities well.  For your two open days,  I might suggest just seeing what actually calls out to you.  It may be just a nice day to sleep in and spend the day by the pool or at the playground of the resort.  The Animal Kingdom Lodge also has many activities for kids and families in the resort itself with plenty of areas to explore and experience.  It is easy to just spend a day there.  Maybe you'll think about some  attractions you weren't able to enjoy because of long waits or something you'd like to experience again. Or perhaps on one of your "open" days you might want to visit Downtown Disney.  Our sons enjoy Once Upon a Toy, World of Disney, and especially the LEGO Imagination Center which has a play area.

I wouldn't worry about upgrading your ticket since you already have everything planned out well; you've done a great job!

Wishing you a magical trip!   Kara
