Hi there, Cornelia Marianne!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your MAGICal Disney Cruise is coming up so soon and I know you must be excited for all the fun that awaits you onboard! The Disney Magic was the first Disney Cruise ship that my family sailed on and it remains one of my favorite ships!
The
Disney Magic does not have an onboard ATM, so I do recommend getting any cash you want ahead of embarking on your adventure. Lucky for you, though, your Disney Cruise Line reservation is inclusive of entertainment, food (SO. MUCH. FOOD!), sodas (available at the 24-hour drink station on the pool deck) and much more! Any of the “extras” such as bar service, prepackaged snacks, Port Adventures and souvenirs from the onboard shops will be purchased with your Key to the World card that you receive when you check-in at the port for embarkation. At the end of the week, the credit card that you provided upon check-in will be charged OR you can settle up with cash at Guest Services throughout the sailing if you choose to do so. You will not need any cash onboard aside from a few small bills for room service (included!) delivery and anything you may want to use cash for when you visit a port.
For those of us that like keeping track of our onboard spending, I found on a recent sailing, that the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app has a feature where you can check your account and see any charges made to your card! Make sure you have the app downloaded to your smartphone prior to sailing to use this feature – and all the other helpful things on it!!
Wishing you a MAGICal adventure with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
