I know this has been asked, but I want to be 100% sure! Our son will be turning 3 on the 6th day of our 7 day stay at WDW. Will we be charged for his admission and dining plan at that point? I've read here that we won't, but someone else told us we would!

Hello Ashley.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Rest assured, as long as you check in to your Walt Disney World resort hotel when your son is 2 years old, that will be the age he is considered the rest of your vacation.  I spent my daughter's 3rd birthday at Walt Disney World and while that was a while ago, the policy hasn't changed.  You wont be charged for your sons dining plan or park entry for the last few days of your vacation.

I hope this helps ease your mind, if you have any other questions please do come back and ask.  Oh, and be sure to grab him a Happy Birthday button from the front desk when you check in.  He will get lots of birthday wishes from Cast Members and Guests alike and maybe even a free treat (like a cupcake) if you have dining reservations that day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
