    I know this has been asked often, but I'm finding conflicting answers. On the 2016 Deluxe Dining Plan, can my 9 year old, for whom we paid Child DDDP price, order an Adult appetizer, entrée and dessert even if a Child's menu is available?

    I'm glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, I am confident you will be able to enjoy some amazing meals at Walt Disney World. I love going to the parks for the attractions, but I will admit I sometimes enjoy some of the restaurants even more.

    I know it can be frustrating seeing conflicting information, but I hope that I can clarify it for you. According to the official terms and conditions of the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan for 2016, it states that "guests ages 3-9 must order from a children's menu where available." This can be found under the Redeeming Your Meals section. 

    I also wanted to offer a few suggestions of my favorite dining spots. My family always has a great experience in the retro 50s Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Dine on some amazing pacific northwest inspired favorites at Artist Point in Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Also at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is Whispering Canyon Cafe. Your family is sure to have a knee-slappin', hoot-hollerin' good time while enjoying the hearty and tasty fare.
