    I know AP start date begins on first day u visit so if I buy a pass this month (May 2020) but don’t visit til July am I gonna be charged monthly from May20-May21, but then I could still Visit til July2021 even tho no monthly charge will occur last 2months?

    I’m delighted to hear that you’re considering purchasing an Annual Passport to “The Happiest Place on Earth!” I’ve been a Disneyland Resort Annual Passholder off and on for over 15 years and I absolutely love it. I'm sure you'll love it too! Annual Passholders enjoy benefits such as dining and merchandise discounts, AP exclusive merchandise and early access to purchase special event tickets!

    As a resident of Southern California, you have the option of using Monthly Payments for the purchase of your Annual Passport. The monthly option is available for Annual Passports purchased online or at a Main Entrance ticket booth. Annual Passports purchased via telephone must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

    With the theme parks currently closed, your new Annual Passport purchase will be a little different than normal. You will be required to make a down payment of $179. Please note that prices are subject to change without notice. Normally, your first monthly payment would be charged within 24 hours of your Annual Passport purchase. But, with the current situation, your first monthly payment will not be charged until the theme parks reopen. 

    You are correct that your magical year begins on the first day of Annual Passport use, not the date of purchase. So, your Annual Passport will be valid for one year from the date of your first visit. However, your Annual Passport payments will start at park reopening and continue for 12 months.
