Hi Tammy,
Thanks for stopping by the
Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Let me see what I can do...
How nice of you to think of being part of the Walt Disney Company and owning a little bit of it. It was a few years ago when I finally decided on becoming a stockholder, and the reason that made me do it was that the Walt Disney Company was no longer issuing paper certificates. At the time, Disney was one of the few companies that was still issuing them.
There are several companies that sell a single stock, and will accompany it with a paper stock replica. Prices are typically as much as two shares. You have another option however. You may purchase stocks directly from the
Walt Disney Company Shareholders site (minimum purchase is $175 or less than two shares at today's prices), and this will allow you to purchase a commemorative
Walt Disney Company Collectible Shareholder Certificate from the Disney Store.
One last tip: make sure you download the
Shop Disney Parks mobile app ahead of time. You will be able to make purchases of many authentic Disney Parks merchandise, up to three days in advance and have it delivered to your Resort hotel, or to the entrance of a Theme Park.
Ricardo.
