Hello, Jean Marie! Eek, I absolutely love surprises, and I’m so honored to help! I went on my first Disney Cruise with my husband while I was pregnant. It was such a magical vacation, and the crew made me feel like a princess the whole time!
As for a reveal, there aren’t any set programs on the ship, but I’ve seen plenty of celebrations on board. You could ask the trivia host if they’d be willing to help— they’re a fun bunch! Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early to discuss your plans with them.
Another idea is to have your reveal in front of a
Disney photographer. I’ve seen parents holding up a onesie or sign while meeting a character or taking family photos. This is a great way to capture everyone’s joy when they see the news.
You could also check with your head server for ideas. I’ve seen “Happy Birthday” and other special messages written in chocolate around dessert plates. They might be able to write your message on the plate one evening.
It’s always a good idea to have a few options in mind, just in case! The
crew loves to celebrate special moments, but sometimes, they can't go beyond what’s typically allowed. Having a few ideas ready will help you make sure your reveal is as magical as possible within those limits!
SEAS the adventure!
