Do you know if there is anyway to link a Disney redemption card to your phone so you don’t have to carry the actual card around with you? I don’t want to lose it.

Greetings Carrie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I'd be happy to assist you today.

I love using my Disney Rewards Redemption Card on vacation! How great is it to have some expenses covered with rewards dollars? While you can't link and save anything other than a credit or debit card to your My Disney Experience account, I'm going to share my strategies for using both Disney Gift Cards and Disney Rewards Redemption Cards without having to carry the cards with you.

First, if you will be a Guest at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection, you can charge purchases to your room with either a MagicBand or Key to the World Card. The afternoon or evening before you check out of your hotel, visit the front desk to pay down your charges with a Disney Rewards Redemption Card. During your vacation, you can leave your redemption card in your in-room safe or other secure location.

With Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering being such an important part of our world these days, another mouseketool I use is the Notes application on my iPhone. Before leaving home, I input the number for my Disney Rewards Redemption Card in this app and then copy and paste it into the payment screen on the My Disney Experience Mobile App when I want to finalize a purchase. This saves me the time of bringing and pulling the card out each time I want to use it.

I hope this gives you some ideas for conveniently using your Disney Rewards Redemption Card in the theme parks and resorts, Carrie. Best wishes for a magical vacation, and we'll see ya real soon!
