    Do you know if there is anything special happening for the grand opening of each area in Art of Animation? We are arriving to Little Mermaid on 9/15 (opening day) for that area?

    Hi Sarah, You must be so excited for your upcoming stay at the new Art of Animation resort. Unfortunately, we don't have any information about special opening celebrations for the individual sections or for the resort as a whole. Disney typically doesn't release detailed plans about celebrations until much closer, often just a few weeks before. My advice is to keep checking back as your vacation approaches and we'll be happy to let you know if we have any news. Good luck with your planning.
