    Do you know anything about the Pirate and Pal Cruise from the CR? I have DD (11) and DD (6). Is it appropriate for girly girls? Also, would it be too cold at end of Jan for this activity. We go every year last wk in Jan and weather can be iffy.

    I absolutely LOVE the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. My own very "girly girl" is now 13 and has enjoyed the voyage 3 times so far at ages 8, 10 and 11 and is about to enjoy it again for the 4th time!

    It's a purely fun and magical, family evening full of laughs, Disney trivia and songs, stories, and the most spectacular view of the Wishes fireworks that you will ever see. I can understand your concern with the themeing being very 'Pirate' and a family of girls. I've taken many family members and friends on the voyage with us and I can assure you that everyone; boys and girls of varying ages and even the adults; have always had an amazing time! Often, at the end of the voyage, Wendy appears alongside Peter Pan when you arrive at the Contemporary Boat Docks. My daughter has always enjoyed that photo opportunity.

    I most often travel during off seasons in early December, January and early February and have done the voyage only in those time frames. We definitely bring an extra zip-up hoodie for the boat as the breeze can be cool off the water. It's never been too cool that we didn't thoroughly enjoy ourselves though!
