I know this has been answered but It was an old post and wanted to make sure it was still valid as of today. We are dining at chef mickeys and would like to bring in our own cake. Is that still possible? Thank you!!

Hello Tara and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
As a self confessed cake connoisseur your super question truly jumped right out at me!  With so many delicious Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort to choose from I would certainly find it tricky to make a final choice, so can totally understand perhaps wishing to provide a sweet confection brought from home when dining with the Big Cheese himself at Chef Mickey's!
I'm happy to share that Guests are more than welcome to bring their own food items with them into Disney Theme Parks and Resort hotels as long as they do not require any additional storage, refrigeration or re-heating.  However prior to arrival it's always possible to speak with a knowledgable Cast Member at Disney's Contemporary Resort to discuss your particular requirements by dialling the telephone number contained within my previous link.
Wishing you a magical upcoming celebration at Walt Disney World Resort.
    ~ Jane
