Hi Mary Beth,
There's little my husband and I enjoy more during a visit to Epcot than strolling the World Showcase, sampling food from the 11 pavilions and sipping an adult beverage as we go. We frequently make the
Rose and Crown Pub our first stop for a pint of Bass or Guinness or an occasional beverage flight.
The pub, attached to the Rose and Crown Dining Room, will serve your drink in glassware or a to-go cup. If it's hot out, we will linger inside with our beverages. It's a fun atmosphere and we often strike up interesting conversations with others who are visiting from around the world.
Or we like to sit in the shady garden adjacent to Rose and Crown to relax as we sip.
I've never asked for to-go cups for the whiskey flights, which each feature three different whiskeys. But I feel certain they would accommodate you if you want the flight to-go. (Beverage flights are available at some of the special booths during festivals, such as the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival,
Festival of the Arts and Flower and Garden Festival, in cardboard trays designed to hold three small plastic cups.)
That said, I would consider taking the time to sit and savor the whiskey flight so that you can best compare the aromas and subtle differences in each of the three pours. For me, the periodic rests to enjoy a drink, the scenery and the company are what make a Walt Disney World visit so special.
While we're on the subject of flights, can I also recommend a stop at
La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico pavilion? They feature dozens of tequila varieties, all with their own distinct styles and flavors.
Thanks for asking your question, Mary Beth. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as your trip nears. Cheers!
Wilma
