Hi Danelle!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I was invited to go to Walt Disney World Resort on a friend's family trip when I was in
high school. I'll never forget how cool we thought we were to be navigating the 'World (well, the Walt Disney World) by ourselves. So thanks for letting your kids feel that freedom too!
This is a great question as sometimes it's nice to have a parent-break from the parks and to let the kids have some time to themselves. Yes, the age for a minor to enter any Walt Disney World Resort theme park
by themselves is 14. 14 is also the minimum age for anyone to chaperon a younger guest. There is one more age requirement, which is that guests under the age of seven must be with someone older than 14 at all times, including when experiencing an attraction.
There are a lot of
great, new attractions and experiences for them to explore. And don't forget to 'Like' and 'Follow' the
Disney Parks Blog across all of their social media channels to keep up with the latest news,
snack trends, and tips!
We'll See You Real Soon, Danelle!
