Hey, Robert! Welcome to planDisney.
At special events, like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, or
Disney After Hours, wait times are often much shorter due to the limited number of Guests. For some attractions, you can simply walk on without a wait at all! That's one of the reasons I absolutely love these kinds of events. And that's not to mention the free food and beverages!
Robert, at this time, we don't know specifics about which attractions will be available for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I would assume
TRON Lightcycle / Run will be open for this event. However, we can only guess whether it will continue to utilize the virtual queue system or adopt a standby line for this event. If I were you, I would keep checking the
Disney Parks Blog throughout the summer.
There are also Disney After Hours events at
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. If you go to their respective pages on the Walt Disney World website, you can actually see a list of rides that will most probably be open. However, just note that attractions and experiences are subject to change without notice.
You can't pay extra to get into the park specifically to ride certain attractions, Robert. However, attending any special event at Walt Disney World Resort is sure to give you ample opportunities to enjoy your favorite rides.
I hope that's helpful. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Robert.
Mike
