Ahoy, Kari! It looks like your Disney Cruise Line adventure is about to begin! I’d be happy to help you navigate
Disney’s alcohol policy.
Disney Cruise Line Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne or 6 beers on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. These beverages must be packed in your carry-on luggage. Guests bringing their own wine bottles into the dining room are charged a corking fee. Just ask your stateroom attendant for some wine glasses and a corkscrew, and you can sip and savor a glass of wine in your stateroom whenever you’d like.
Another option is purchasing a wine package before boarding or on the ship. On the
Disney Cruise Line website, navigate to Already Booked >
Onboard Gifts to view the Classic or Premium Wine Package. Each evening, you’ll pick a bottle or two from the exclusive wine list selected by the onboard sommeliers. What you don’t finish can be brought back to your stateroom, or your serving team can rotate it to your next dining room.
Kari, make sure you stop by
The Rose on the Disney Wish. You’ll find an extensive selection of high-end wines and liquors, making it an idyllic setting for an ocean-view drink. In fact, that’s one of the things I like best about the Disney Wish is all the bars and lounges waiting to be explored. You’ll find their hours of operation on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The app is full of helpful information once you board. A few of my favorite features are the ship’s deck plans, dining room menus, and, of course, a list of all the entertainment. With just a few days to go, I hope the rest of your planning is smooth sailing. Thank you for stopping by with your question!
SEAS the adventure!
