Hi Susan,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday last spring with a stay in a Royal Guest Room at
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and we had the most magical time. From the lovely Disney details in the rooms and around the resorts, to the beautiful landscaping and river views, to the huge variety of recreation offerings, I consider Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts some of my very favorite vacation spots.
At this time, there is a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine in the
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory food court at
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. The soda machine at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is a standard soda fountain featuring Coke products, and I haven’t heard of any plans to change that for a Freestyle machine.
Susan, we stayed in the Magnolia Bend section of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and our walk over to French Quarter was so peaceful and idyllic. Most days, we opted to walk to Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory for dinner and some of their iconic Mickey-shaped beignets, and we filled our Resort Refillable Mugs while we were over there. A great benefit to staying at either Port Orleans Resort is that they are considered sister resorts, so Guests are welcome to use the pools, food courts, and recreation at either resorts. It gives you so many options!
A really fun place to try different Coke products is the
Coca-Cola Store in Disney Springs. They have a Freestyle machine there, along with a
rooftop bar with gorgeous views where you can order spiked Coke slushies, a flight of ice cream soda floats, and more delicious soda concoctions. You can even
take a photo with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear!
Have a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day,
Robyn
