Hi, do you know if you are able to walk into the Pixar Pals parking structure by foot (from Magic Way or another entry point) to catch the free tram? (as we will be staying nearby that entrance) Thanks so much :)

    Hiya, Nicola!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending your Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!

Yes, there is a way to enter the Pixar Pals and Mickey & Friends parking structure on foot to be able to ride to the parks in style on my son's favorite attraction, the parking lot tram.

What you'll want to do is stick to the sidewalk on the southern side of Magic Way and cross over the street on the 2nd story pedestrian bridge. There are two different paths to get to the pedestrian bridge; the first is a set of stairs almost directly under the bridge, and the second is at the corner of Magic Way and Disneyland Drive. Note that if you have a stroller or a wheelchair in your group, your best bet will be to take the opening at the corner, follow the sidewalk south a bit, and then your path will meet up with the ramp that goes to the bridge.

Once you cross the bridge, you'll take the escalator or elevator to the ground level and walk towards the center of the structure where you'll find the trams just beyond the security check. I'm linking this map that will automagically zoom in on the Disneyland Hotel. Once the map loads, drag the hotel to the bottom of your screen and you should be able to get a good sense of where everything is in relation to each other. (I can currently see the hotel, the parking structure, and the Downtown Disney District entrance.) The tram will drop your group off directly across from the World of Disney shop, and this is also where you'll find your ride at the end of your Disney day.

I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Nicola! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
