Hiya, Terry.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney today. I’m so glad you’re here! I hope the recovery from your knee surgery flies by so you can be back on your feet. In the meantime, let’s see if I can point you in the right direction for your upcoming trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are available to rent at all
four theme parks, both water parks, and
Disney Springs on a first-come, first-served basis for a small daily fee. To view the rental location in each park, scroll down to the bottom of the
ECV Rental webpage and click on a respective park under “Find ECV Rentals.” The interactive map will highlight where you can pick up your ECV. Reservations are not accepted in advance, so I strongly encourage you to arrive early at your destination each day. Walt Disney World Resort’s preferred provider, ScooterBug, can deliver your rented ECV directly to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for you. To arrange your rental, give ScooterBug a call at (800) 726-8284. If you have additional questions regarding ECVs, you can contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or by email at disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Terry, you’ll be happy to know that many of the attractions allow you to ride your ECV through the queue. For those that do not allow it, you will either have to transfer to a wheelchair or receive direction from a Cast Member on an alternative route to navigate the queue. I assure you, Walt Disney World Resort is one of the most accommodating destinations you’ll come across and your temporarily diminished mobility will not hold you back from having the adventure of a lifetime.
If you think of further questions, please stop back by
planDisney. Now, you had better get that final countdown started, because you only have a few weeks left to go until you’re off to Neverland!
See ya real soon,
Alyssa
