Hiya Dean,
Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited to answer all of your planning questions about visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
There are so many incredible little aspects of Walt Disney World that make it truly the Most Magical Place to visit, and the Kiss Goodnight is one of them. I’ve only seen it once myself since I’m usually in a rush to get my little ones to sleep, but it was a special bit of magic that could only happen in
Magic Kingdom. While there is no official schedule for the Kiss Goodnight, a Cast Member confirmed that it does happen most nights at Magic Kingdom. Typically, if it is to occur that night, you should expect to see it happen about 30 minutes after Magic Kingdom officially closes for the night. Just listen to the music and turn your eyes to Cinderella Castle.
I hope this was helpful, Dean. While I cannot guarantee that the Kiss Goodnight will happen during your trip, I am sending pixie dust that it does. You can always ask a Cast Member at
Guest Services when you arrive if the Kiss Goodnight is scheduled for the night you are there to be sure. Before I let you go, don’t forget to arrive a little early at the viewing area of the
post-party fireworks dessert party to get a good spot for the fireworks. It can get a little crowded the closer you get to the show, so if a good place is important to you, then prioritize that. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
