    What a great question!
    Resort to Resort transportation is always a bit tricky.
    You actually have a few different options to consider from Disney's Contemporary Resort.

    If you don't mind a short walk, follow the pathway towards Magic Kingdom and head to the Magic Kingdom Bus Depot area. Here, you'll simply board a Disney Transportation bus directly to Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is the most simple, direct and quickest route in my opinion, provided that the weather is favourable and you don't mind the approximately 10-minute walk.

    Alternatively, you can board a bus to Animal Kingdom right at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Upon arrival at Animal Kingdom Park, you'll need to transfer over to a bus bound for Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    A third option would be to take a bus from your Contemporary Resort to Downtown Disney. Upon arrival, simply board a bus headed to Animal Kingdom Lodge.
