Hi Kirsten, We will be visiting Disney in 10 days. For the first time we will be staying at the Polynesian Resort. I am just wondering if the resort has any area's to run like set trails and paths? Thanks

    Hi Kim!

Just 10 days until a blissful time at Disney's Polynesian Resort? You are in for a real treat!
The 'Poly' as it is affectionately known, has been my favourite of all the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels since I was a young child. I'm sure you just can't wait to be right in the heart of the magic with a fairy tale view of Cinderella Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon. This location really just can't be beat!

There are indeed some great jogging and running trails around 'The Poly' and around the Seven Seas Lagoon. As you check-in at the Resort, simply ask your Cast Member for a jogging map. The Polynesian's jogging route is about 1.5 miles (2.414 kms). If you wish to run further distances, there are additional pathways that can take you further either towards the Transportation and Ticket Center or over towards Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

For more information on running at Walt Disney World, be sure to check out my Disney Parks Moms Panelist friend Lori's video featured on the Disney Parks Blog's article 'Stay on the Run at Walt Disney World Resort.' I've included the link for you.

You can also visit the 'Jogging Trails' page of the Walt Disney World website for more information.

Thanks so much for visiting me with your great question Kim.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
