Hi Kirsten, thanks for the info on ordering groceries :) Also wondering about how it works if you have your birthday while you are at the park? Our eldest son will be turning 11 on the friday of our visit. Are there any special fun things to do?

    Hi there Kelly!

It's so nice to hear from you again! It was my pleasure to provide you with the grocery ordering information.

Walt Disney World loves to recognize the birthdays of Guests visiting the parks and resorts. Don't wait until the exact day of your son's birthday ... celebrate for the WHOLE trip!

Upon arrival, visit your resort front desk or Guest Relations in one of the parks and be sure to pick up a Birthday Button! A Cast Member will write your son's name on it (they usually 'Disney-it-up' a bit too!) and make sure he wears it proudly throughout your visit! Cast Members all over the place will constantly recognize his special occasion and wish him a Happy Birthday by name! It's a really magical touch for sure!

When dining at any table service dining locations, any day during your stay, be sure to let your server know that you're celebrating your son's birthday as well. Quite often, you may find an extra special treat could be delivered before the end of your meal!

You never know what other little surprises could be in store when a Cast Member recognizes that Birthday Button so be sure to have your son show it off proudly throughout your stay.

Please don't hesitate to visit me again Kelly. I love hearing from friends like you whom I've met during one of my own 'magical' family vacations!

    Have a Magical Day!

    Kirsten
