    Hi Kirsten - thanks for your earlier response. More AKL questions - if I book club level, am I guaranteed a savanna view? We REALLY want a savanna view. Also, which savanna is best to see the most animals?

    If you're going to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort, you absolutely DO want a Savanna View Room. Staying there is like staying in another world .... which is part of the appeal. Staying here gives you two vacations in one - the Magic of Walt Disney World and the serene beauty of being on a 'real' savanna in Africa! You just can't beat the overall, combined experience!

    So, the great news is that since you're considering a Club Level stay at Jambo House, you will be assured a Savannah View to go along with your fabulous extras. All Kilimanjaro Club Level - Standard Rooms offer a view of the resort's "Arusha Savanna." You'll find both zebra and giraffes on the Arusha savanna, as well as many other species of African wildlife including the majestic Ankole Cattle, Impala, Okapi and more! The savannas are all illuminated at night by 'artificial moonlight' so it's as though there is a full moon every night.

    If you should happen to decide not to stay in a Club Level room, I'd recommend that you request the Arusha or Sunset savannas over the Uzima.

    As another alternative to your Club Level Room, you may consider a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom - Kidani Village, and reserve a 1 bedroom villa with a savanna view, complete with full kitchen. I just stayed in this accommodation type myself last month and it was simply fantastic! We enjoyed preparing our own breakfasts each day and the views of the Sunset savanna here were fantastic as well.
