Hi Kirsten! Thank you for your fireworks reply! I will use the resort map to find the beaches you mentioned. We are traveling April 3rd to the Polynesian. Do you think that is peak holiday time? Just wanna make sure we see the fireworks there :)

    Hello Mary!

I'm so glad to see that you've come back to visit me. It's so nice to hear from you again!

Unfortunately, there is no real schedule of dates that Disney's Polynesian Resort may close its beach to outside guests. Generally speaking, the week of Christmas & New Year's Eve as well as the days surrounding the 4th of July are THE dates that most definitely the beach would be limited to Polynesian Resort Hotel Guests only. At all other times of the year, it really would depend on volumes at the resort and a decision would be made by the resort hotel if it became necessary to limit the beach's capacity.

With April 3rd being mid-week and after the Easter weekend, I don't anticipate you encountering a problem, but just wanted you to be aware that the availability of the beach may be subject to change without notice. I'd recommend that you have your resort concierge call over to the Polynesian's front desk on Monday, Tuesday or even Wednesday morning to inquire, just to be sure. You can also pop into Guest Relations in any of the parks that day and ask them to place the call for you.

Thanks so much for visiting me again. I hope you'll write me back with additional questions you may think of prior to your vacation.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Mary!
