    Hi Kirsten - Re. Magic Bands - do we have to register to receive these, or will they be automatically sent to us before our vacation? Can we set them up online, or do we have to do this at our Resort, on arrival? Are they sent to the UK? Thank you!

    It's so nice to hear from you from across the pond!
    Your next vacation at Walt Disney World will be more magical than ever thanks to the fun & technology of the new MagicBands! To read all about them - and how they'll add magic to your vacation - I hope you'll visit the link I've included just above for you!

    If you're staying on site at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, MagicBands are automatically a part of your stay in 2014. Should you choose not to set anything up online in advance, your bands will be waiting for you in a neutral 'gray' shade upon check-in at your resort.

    So here's where the fun begins! ... Be sure to link your vacation to your Disney profile through the Walt Disney World website and then log in to the 'My Disney Experience' area which you'll find on the right hand side of the top navigation area of the website. Click on the 'MagicBands and Cards' subheading and you can customize your bands! Choose each family member's favourite colour and even choose the name you'd like to be printed on the inside of the band. It doesn't have to be the name registered to your trip - it can be any nickname, character name or even initials if you choose! You'll want to do this at least a few months prior to your trip date.

    Currently, MagicBands are only delivered to addresses within the United States. Since you're in the UK, your customized bands will be ready and waiting for your at the front desk of your resort when you check in! (the site will prompt you to update a shipping address as a default - however your bands will not actually be mailed out)
