Kirsten, planning a visit to WDW for me and 2 DD (14 & 12) at end of August - 3 nights at AKL; 5 at WL. No dining plan cause kids don't eat enough. Your thoughts on Concierge/Club level rooms? Worth the extra money for the snacks & extra perks

    Hi Elizabeth!

What a heavenly trip you have planned! Girls only, just before school goes back in, and a split stay at two of my favourite, beautifully serene Disney Resort hotels!

Concierge or Club Level rooms are an interesting topic. While they are definitely worth the extra expense for the lovely bonuses they provide, they are not for everyone. If you plan to really enjoy some 'down time' each afternoon, and will venture back to your resort prior to dinner, then I'd say that you'll find it very beneficial to you.

If you were to consider splitting your stay between Concierge and non-concierge, Animal Kingdom Lodge's Kilimanjaro Club is definitely among the very best of Concierge Lounges available around Walt Disney World. An added bonus here - the availability to reserve the Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure or the Wanyami Sunset Safari and dinner. These special safari tours and meals are offered exclusively to Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge Guests and are absolutely worth experiencing.

Generally speaking, Concierge or Club Level Lounges in the Walt Disney World Resorts are open from 7am - 10pm daily and offer a variety of snacks and beverages throughout the day exclusively for Concierge Guests. These include continental breakfast served 7-10:30am, tea and midday snacks until 4pm, and wine, cheese and other light hors d'oeuvres 5-7:00pm. Evening snacks, cordials, desserts and beverages are served 8-10pm. Selections vary from resort to resort. Additionally, complimentary Health Club access is also included.

I hope this information is helpful to you in making your decisions about your next Walt Disney World vacation Elizabeth!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question, and I hope to hear from you again soon!
    Have a Magical day!
