Hi Sherry!
I thoroughly enjoyed my recent Mommy-Daughter trip with my own Princess. She has such a love and passion for Walt Disney World
(I don't know WHERE she gets THAT from?) and we just thoroughly enjoyed absolutely everything together. It was a fabulous experience.
I'm so excited to hear that you're looking at planning a trip with your daughter as well.
My daughter, much like yours, had already enjoyed Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique many times and now outgrown it.
Consider some special things that you might not normally do when visiting with the whole family. My daughter and I have enjoyed dual spa treatments at the Mandara Spa in the Dolphin, however your daughter needs to be 13 to enjoy this indulgence. Another fun idea to consider; a special delivery. Something unique and commemorative of her special time with Mom at the Happiest Place On Earth. A favourite of mine, the
A Magical Wish - Fulfill a Dream bracelet and wand. So very magical! Have it deliver to the room - or to a special dining experience you're sharing.
For mother-daughter dining, a few top ideas come to my mind immediately. Number one on my list, would be the Afternoon Tea at the
Garden View Tea Room in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
Other favourite dining locations for my daughter and I are Teppan Edo, Kona Cafe for breakfast and the new Be Our Guest Restaurant in the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom.
I hope some of these ideas suit you and your daughter Sherry!
Please feel free to write back any time. I'd love to hear from you again!
Wishing you a simply Magical time as you plan your "mommy-daughter" trip!
