    Hello Kirsten! I am looking for the most fun way to get From the Magic Kingdom to the Yachtsmen Resort. We have dinner reservations there. I'd like to avoid the bus if possible. Thanks! :-))

    Hi Heather! It might not be totally possible to avoid a bus unless you have Park Hopper passes during your vacation!

    A fun trip is to take the monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  At this location you will then transfer to the Epcot monorail. This ride is a nice long one and along the way you might see deer grazing below the tracks.  When you arrive at Epcot it will take a loop around Future World so its fun to see the park before you actually head in on foot.  It lets you off at the entrance which is where you will start your hike to the Yacht Club resort.

    Walk through Future World and when you get to the World Showcase section take a right to begin the loop around the lake.  You will pass Canada and then United Kingdom. Just after UK you will see a bridge and a path off to the right. Take this path and it will lead to the International Gateway entrance/exit for the park. Continue on the walkway and stay straight along the water until you see the Beach Club resort on your right. The next resort will be the Yacht Club. If you are headed to the Yachtsman Steakhouse you are headed to a great dinner! This trip could take up to an hour so plan plenty of time for the trip.

    If you do not have Park Hopper tickets you will at sometime have to take a bus to get from the Magic Kingdom to the Yacht Club. You can catch the monorail or boat to a resort on the loop and then take a bus from there to Hollywood Studios. At Hollywood Studios you can then take the boat to the Yacht Club marina. This trip might take as much as 1 1/2 hours depending on wait times for transportation.

    These two choices are the most imaginable with the least amount of bus time but there are quicker ways if time is important.  That would be to take the bus directly from the Magic Kingdom to the Yacht Club resort and that trip is approximately 20 minutes.
